“Everybody’s welcome, nobody’s perfect
and through Jesus, anything is possible.”
At FCC Monticello, we want those words to be more than a slogan that you see on the wall. We want them to become a reality for our church family. Join us on October 13, as we begin the process of unpacking those words and working towards making them the defining characteristics of our church family. We are also really excited that in addition to focusing on these words during our worship services, our CONNECT Groups will also be discussing these powerful words during our group times.
A new Women’s Bible Study, Nehemiah: A Heart That Can Break by Kelly Minster, will continue Thursday, October 3. This 7-week video series will meet in the conference room at the E. Columbia Ave entrance of FCC. You can park in the rear of the building. Choose either 10 am or 6 pm group. Please contact Marilyn Barnes (348-9530) if you would like to participate.
One reason our problems seem so big is that we often view God as being small. The troubles and tough situations of the day by many people as being too much for God to handle. The good news is that God is greater than. Greater than my past, my problems, my future, me, my doubts and evil. Six week study continues today Led by David Phillips and held upstairs in Sam Brown’s classroom during the Core Groups hour at 10 a.m. (Upstairs off Balcony)
